ABOUT DEPARTMENT -

The Department of Economics is established in 2003. There is one research guide in the department. Two faculty’s Ph.D. is ongoing. It has computer with internet and Printer. Departmental Library is the feature of the department. Department offers different courses like Agro-business Management, Digital Banking. The Department regularly organizes various academic activities. Every year the faculty Participate & Presentation in international & National, state, Conference, seminar, undertake the research projects related to different issues of economy. Organization of National level seminars, State level seminars and workshops, Village survey, Practical Banking Training, Study tour, Quiz competition, Budget discussion, Expert lectures, Celebration of various days related to economics are the continuous activities of the department. Alumni of the department is working at various sector i.e. Education, Public Administration, Banking, Insurance, Industry, Agri-business and Self-employment. Innovative teaching- learning method has also introduced. Department is consistently working on the skill development of the student which is very important in changing economic conditions.
